How do you balance work and home life?

It took me many years as a nurse to understand the value of work-life balance.

Put simply, when you take time for wellness you are actually more productive at work and at home.

My favorite spot in my home. Me time chair.

The most simple way I ensure a productive home life with my partner and kids AND meet all deadlines and expectations as a Nurse Manager, is LEAVE WORK AT WORK AND LEAVE HOME AT HOME.

What makes me capable of doing this? Taking care of ME both while at work and at home.

At work, I take time for wellness walks on my lunch hour. I buy all the plants for my office space to clear the toxins from my environment and allow for a peaceful, happy place.

At home, I listen to my favorite podcast while I walk my dog. I have a chair in my indoor garden space where I take time to blog, write journal & read.
