It’s been a while since I’ve put my thoughts to paper. There is just so much happening in the world. The good, the bad and the ugly.
I have moved away from my focused work on myself. I find myself skipping lunch breaks. Just working straight through them. It’s a bigger effort to put my work down and walk away for a meaningful break. I-have-no-spare-time-at-home.

The stress associated with what kindergarten will look like for Avry next year and what grade 2 will look like for Georgia is all consuming. I-dont-have-time-for-virtual-learning. I have my kids at the tail end of the day Monday-Friday. They are tired. They are hungry. They are cranky. 6pm Teams calls are torture. The daytime option isn’t an option for us.
Kids need fresh air, sunshine, and bike rides. They need to dig for worms and catch caterpillars. I can’t take that away from them with the limited amount of summer months we have in childhood.
To cram two entire curriculums in after supper. Do this with two developing minds. Ensure two kids are meeting their learning goals. How on earth am I supposed to manage this on top of my own courses.

Curious what other mommas & daddys are doing that are in the same boat as me. How are you planning to meet the needs of your kiddos?
