Write a letter to your 100-year-old self.
Today I am 38. There are 62 years of blank pages between now and when you are reading this letter.
I hope you are sitting in a comfortable chair right now reading these words filled with gratitude from a wholesome life lived with purpose and filled with love.
I hear laughter and squeels of great grandbabies echoeing in back of the cozy ocean side cabin-style home you now reside. A trusted nurse spending their day ensuring you are emotionally and intellectually stimulated. Even at 100 years old.
Blakes wrinkled hands interwined with yours. Comfort safety & love. He still doesnt wear his wedding band. It still doesnt matter because his eyes, as always, only see you. Your imperfections are still perfect to him.
You somehow still find ways to fill your soul through advocacy. Hopefully with 62 years of fighting for equity you have made a difference in our world. Aside from family, this is your earth purpose.
You read. You take photos. You love hard.
I am proud of you.
Your 38 year old self.
