What does “having it all” mean to you? Is it attainable?
In the world of social media & picture perfect online presence it can be easy to let that green monster called envy creep in.
Spoiler alert- most picture perfect instgram families are so beyond broken it is not even worth the time or comparison.
For me, having it all is having four walls & a roof to safely rest my head at night. No, I do not have the 60,000$ kitchen or the Marshall’s decor. I have safety, cleanliness, running water & privacy.
It is having two kids who are thriving. Their health is not perfect. In fact, they both wear bilateral hearing aids! But because they have what they need (hearing aids, teachers who modify the way they teach, speech therapy) they will be okay.
Althoigh not perfect, and 100% offline, I have a husband who loves and respects me. We mainly see eye to eye on the big topics. He makes me feel sexy and wanted (even when I am not sexy haha) 20 years later.
Although I dont have everything; I have everything that matters. I guess its safe to say ‘I have it all’ ❤
